The Following will not be tolerated in our class:
* Disrespect of any kind to anyone at any time on school grounds
* Vandalism (writing on desks or computer hardware)
* Leaving the classroom without permission
* The use of cell phones or any electronic devices
* Swearing, teasing or name calling

Consequences:
* First Step : Conference with Student.
* Second Step : Conference with Student. Notify parent via: letter, telephone call, email)

* Fifth Step: Parent/ Student/ Teacher/ Counselor Conference
* Sixth Step : Referral to CIS
* Seventh Step : Referral to Administration
* Eighth Step : Administrative Review for persistent student misconduct

Tardies:
All students must be on time, in their assigned seat, prepared with the necessary materials and ready to work BEFORE the bell rings. Otherwise if they are late they must present a tardy slip to enter the class.
* First Step : Conference with Student and log in tardy.
* Second Step : Verbal warning and log in tardy.
* Third Step : Student consequence and log in tardy.
* Fourth Step : Student consequence, parent contact - documented phone call or parent letter home
(signed and returned) and log in tardy.
* Fifth Step : Student consequence, contract created, involve counselor and parent, and log in tardy.
* Sixth Step : Written Discipline Referral to the office for Friday School. Schedule RTI meeting with
parent and student, and log in tardy.
* Seventh & Eighth Steps: Repeat offenders : Steps 1- 5 are ongoing. Complete and submit a
Discipline Referral Form to the office for continuously late students in increments of 6
tardies ( 6, 12, 18, etc.). Additional RTI meetings will be scheduled to provide discussion
and possible interventions to prevent ongoing tardies.
